Shopping – The best shopping is in Pacific Beach on Garnet Avenue. Start on the corner of Garnet and Mission Blvd and head east for about a mile and a half. There are scads of fun and quirky shops just waiting for you to hand over your hard earned cash. There are quite a few clothing stores, shoe stores, bars, palm readers, a ton of eateries ranging from Greek to Thai to Mexican to burgers. It is a fun place to roam with the family during the day. At night, most of Garnet turn in to quite the young party scene, with full bars and hoppin’ restaurants.
