Lahaina’s Beach House Mission Beach

Lahaina’s is the only beach bar in San Diego where you can have your favorite adult beverage and stare out at the ocean with only sand between you and the water. There really isn’t anything else like it in San Diego. You must be 21+ and once the sun sets, Lahaina Beach House closes down. Last call is given at sunset. So know that Lahaina’s closes earlier in the winter (4:30 to 5:30pm) but stays open longer in the summer because the sun sets later in the day , usually around 7:00 or 8:00pm.  Seating can be very difficult to find if it is a sunny and warm day.  You may just need to stand and wait for a table to open up. Service can be spotty but the food is good and the drinks are strong. Play your favorite music on the juke box and remember that Lahaina’s is CASH ONLY. ATM provided inside. They open at 8am,  which means (if you must) you can bite the hair of the dog with a breakfast burrito after a long night of drinking.
